Illicit relationship with a man: Woman who killed her husband and threw his body into the drain
There was an incident where a woman planned with her lover and threw the body of her husband, who was an obstacle to an illicit relationship with a man, into a cesspool.
Dasegowda (48), a resident of Someshettihalli, Bangalore, was the murdered person. His wife Jayalakshmi and her lover Rajesh are the accused.
Dasegowda and Jayalakshmi were working in a farmhouse under Soladevahalli police station. Both have been married for 16 years and have two children.
When Jayashree met Rajesh, it turned into an immoral relationship. Rajesh used to come and go when her husband was not at home. The husband got into a fight with his wife knowing this. Jayashree confided in her lover Rajesh. The two had hatched a plot to kill Dasegowda.
Later, he brought a rope from the cattle barn of the lover who had entered the house through the back door and strangled him to death. After getting together, the two tied the hands and feet with ropes, put the body in a plastic bag and left in the car.
The accused took the body in a car and dumped it in a culvert on the Mysore Bangalore highway. The accused pushed the dead body to a distance of about 50 meters in the culvert and threw the mobile phone 500 meters away from there.
Jayashree complained that her husband was missing the next day after coming home. During the interrogation, he called Priikar as his and Priikar Jayalakshmi as his sister. But when the wife's call details were taken and checked, it was found that the highest number of calls went to her lover, and after that, when the police conducted a thorough investigation, the genuineness came out.
